About the Job Opportunity
The Center for Action and Contemplation (CAC) is seeking a Director of Digital Platforms & Technology Operations to lead the strategy, governance, and evolution of our core technology ecosystem.
This role oversees CAC's digital platforms across Web, CRM (Salesforce), and IT Operations, ensuring systems are reliable, integrated, accessible, and aligned with organizational priorities. While responsible for the broader technology landscape, this leader's primary area of expertise and ownership will be CAC's web ecosystem.
As a strategic partner to leaders across the organization, you'll help shape how technology supports our mission, staff, and global audience. You'll balance competing priorities, guide platform investments, lead cross-functional initiatives, and ensure our systems continue to evolve thoughtfully and sustainably.

What You’ll Do
Digital Platform Strategy & Leadership
- Lead CAC's digital platform strategy across Web, CRM, and IT Operations.
- Establish platform governance, priorities, and long-term technology direction.
- Partner with leadership to align investments, resources, and roadmaps with organizational goals.
- Make thoughtful decisions that balance impact, capacity, cost, and risk.
Web Platform Leadership
- Serve as the strategic owner of CAC's web ecosystem and digital experience.
- Define web platform architecture, integrations, accessibility standards, and roadmap priorities.
- Use analytics, user behavior data, and stakeholder feedback to inform platform improvements.
- Manage external web partners and contractors to ensure high-quality execution.
- Evaluate future platform opportunities, including modernization and potential platform migrations.
CRM & IT Oversight
- Provide strategic oversight for Salesforce and IT Operations.
- Ensure systems are integrated, reliable, and aligned with organizational needs.
- Coordinate priorities across platforms while supporting functional leaders responsible for day-to-day execution.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop technology managers and their teams.
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner across the organization.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience leading digital platforms, web technologies, product functions, or enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated success owning web platform strategy, architecture, and roadmap development.
- Strong product management experience, including prioritization, stakeholder management, and requirements gathering.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing people leaders.
- Proven ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes across complex organizations.
- Strong communication, planning, and budget management skills.
- Experience working with external vendors, contractors, and technology partners.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows, and OS Operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with WordPress, web governance, and accessibility standards.
- Product Management certifications (CPM, CSPM, Scrum, etc.).
- Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Familiarity with Asana, Google Analytics, Hotjar, SEMRush, or related tools.
Work Requirements
- Ability to maintain a stationary position at a desk/workstation for extended periods, using a computer, and performing repetitive arm/hand motions such as typing and operating a mouse.
- Sufficient visual acuity for viewing computer monitors and reading digital text/data.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally in English, including speaking clearly and comprehending spoken words and conversations.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and carry approximately 15 pounds.

This is a full-time, exempt position scheduled to begin as soon as possible. We’re open to remote candidates, but have a preference for candidates who are located in Albuquerque, New Mexico or are open to relocation (we offer relocation assistance).
We are pleased to offer a salary range of $112,942 - $139,207 annually (based on experience) for this position. Compensation ranges are established based on a grade system designed to ensure competitiveness with industry standards as well as pay equity. Final compensation will be determined based on the specific qualifications of the candidate in relation to the salary grade and predetermined criteria.
