About the Job Opportunity

Are you energized by the idea of shaping meaningful learning experiences that foster personal transformation? As the Learning Development Coordinator at the CAC, you’ll play an essential role in bringing our educational programs to life.

In this dynamic position, you’ll collaborate with the Learning Development Team to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of CAC’s learning offerings. From integrating content and assessments into our community platform to analyzing course data and feedback and managing logistics for virtual and in-person events, your work will directly impact how students engage with our teachings.

You’ll serve as a key administrator across teams, supporting program Facilitators and Guides, communicating with students, and helping to ensure our learning experiences are well-organized, thoughtful, and impactful. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, technically proficient, and excited to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Program and Administrative Support:
    • Support the Learning Development Team by integrating course content and assessments into the community learning platform.
    • Assist with project management tasks and facilitation of learning experiences.
    • Help expand and refine Living School and online course offerings.
  • Data Analysis and Course Assessment:
    • Compile and analyze course assessment data to support iterative improvements.
    • Assist in developing data-driven strategies for enhancing student learning outcomes.
  • Guide and Facilitator Support:
    • Manage logistical inquiries and administrative needs for Guides and Facilitators.
    • Support the coordination of Guide and Facilitator payments.
  • Student Communication and Registration:
    • Facilitate student registration and access to Living School and online courses.
    • Assist in assigning Living School students to circles and pods.
    • Respond to and manage student inquiries across multiple communication channels.
    • Support external student communications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Meeting and Event Coordination:
    • Schedule project meetings and document key action items and decisions.
    • Coordinate logistics for meetings and gatherings with internal teams and external contractors.
    • Prepare materials for meetings and projects.
    • Support live learning events, both virtual and in-person, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ideally 1 or more years of experience in administrative support experience, preferably in an academic or nonprofit setting.
  • Proficiency with learning platforms (Mighty Networks, Canvas, or similar LMS).
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting (Excel proficiency required; Salesforce preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI tools and project management software (Asana preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Interest in contemplative traditions and familiarity with CAC’s mission and teachings preferred.

Work Requirements

  • Ability to remain stationary at a desk for extended periods while using a computer.
  • Sufficient visual acuity to view monitors and read text/data.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, including speaking and comprehending conversations.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience coordinating educational programs.
  • Familiarity with the Christian contemplative tradition.
  • Prior experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Job Specifications, Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, non-exempt position scheduled to begin as soon as possible. We are open to remote candidates located in the United States. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package for full-time staff positions.

We are pleased to offer an hourly range of $23.85 - $29.81 per hour (based on experience) for this position. Compensation ranges are established based on a grade system designed to ensure competitiveness with industry standards as well as pay equity. Final compensation will be determined based on the specific qualifications of the candidate in relation to the salary grade and predetermined criteria.
